nice inn. Currently has a street sale of punch and red sausage on the weekends. Unfortunately, there is a very large rush at the weekend and due to the mass operation, half-raw sausages are sometimes sold. It's a shame, because the quality shouldn't actually suffer.
Due to the corona, there was only delicious punch and a red sausage ...
We had a terrible overnight stay there. The boss is completely chaotic and unable to reserve 4 rooms, seems irritable and overwhelmed. The rooms themselves were OK to dirty (urine stains on the toilet), everything is full of cheap kitsch. The food was mercilessly overpriced. We also like to pay more for GOOD food, but it was absolutely average and much too expensive (just under 20 € for a sauerbraten, just under 30 € for an onion roast). The dishes at breakfast were dirty with leftovers from the previous guest. We quickly lost our appetite. The location is positive. And we also really enjoyed sitting outside. Overall, we would like to advise against it. Dirty, expensive, unsympathetic.
We went to the beautifully decorated restaurant on a rainy Sunday. It was well attended, but not overly crowded. The waitress tried hard and the service was quick. The food is about what you would expect from Swabian cuisine. The children's schnitzel was breaded (you could even hear the knocking from the kitchen), the sauerbraten with a nice sauce (clearly not a ready-made sauce), the spaetzle were round and long and the many beef strips in the salad were pink. In addition, a plate with the delicious potato salad, which was also not out of the tin. I don't know what the other guests experienced, but we will definitely be back.
Delicious Swabian dishes, an idyllic setting with a pleasantly rustic flair for which the animals, which can be seen from the beer garden and which are kept in a species-appropriate manner, provide a place to unwind, plus the exemplary compliance with the corona protective measures, as you rarely see and not Finally a super boss who cares for the well-being of her guests with body and soul - we would definitely like to come back!
The food was delicious and the service very friendly. Kässpätzle and the potato salad are typically Swabian and a real recommendation.
We were here again and nothing has improved since our last visit. Service and kitchen have a lot of room for improvement. We sat at the table for 20 minutes before a waitress came, and after another 30 minutes the drinks were on the table. The food has the level of a bad canteen. Really a shame, because the location alone has great potential and you could make more of it. Conclusion: improve service and significantly improve the quality of the food.
Very good food and a nice place to take a break and fill your belly during a hike.
Very expensive food, prices do not match the online menu in any way. I don't find that kind of excuse nowadays and has the bland aftertaste of a rip-off. Salad plate € 14, roast beef € 25 .....
Terrible stay, first got dirty glass, when asked to receive a new one, I didn't even get an apology. Got food with the wrong side dish, insisted on changing and then served very unfriendly. When paying the whole disaster noticed what is going on between the staff and the boss ... Mobbing and very bad tone. No wonder the waitress makes mistakes when someone next to her is loudly blasphemed about her. The prices for the food totally exaggerated as it doesn't look and taste particularly fresh. We were there for the last time .... really not to be recommended !!!!!!!!

Very nice, well-kept restaurant. Very nice ambience and great location. Were there yesterday. We found a place straight away and were served quite quickly. Food was delicious and waiting time was ok. It was surprisingly busy for noon on Saturday. There were 2 waitresses that had to be quick. Have coped well with this onslaught. Prices were okay. Toilets very clean and everything very nicely decorated. Points are deducted because of a wrong invoice. Other price collected as it was on the display. Money was refunded without any problems.
We were the first lunchtime guests today. Chewing gum is sticking under the table and not necessarily clean. The food not necessarily cheap, ordered lentils with spaetzle. The lentils tasted and looked like they were canned. We also had goat cheese with lettuce and fruit. The fruits were coarse pieces of apple no longer very well arranged in addition to the green salad. The cheese was good. Wait staff wasn't really qualified. Pour the apple juice across the table that squirted apple juice everywhere (the wasps were happy), nor could she give any information about the content of the meal when we asked about the fruit (allergies). The environment was shabby and in the garden a man walked around as it looked only dressed in a work coat, because you could see things you don't want to see. I don't think it has to be. We won't stop there again !!!
Very nice garden restaurant. Food very good to my taste. Hospitable landlady and staff.
Today we went to the album angel again. We can only recommend the roast beef. Upper class and the sauce is brilliant. Are very often to eat with one lap and keep going back from eating excited. The service was also very courteous. Everything fits. Also recommended for cider drinkers.
Yesterday we celebrated my mother's birthday in the album angel with 20 people. The food was delicious and the staff very friendly, attentive and courteous. We will come back in any case. 👍
Horror service !! The 2 women who serve (strong dark-haired and "blonde") the customers are apparently served here after sympathy. We waited 40 minutes to take an order and were ignored. it was only whispered in a foreign language. In an alleged Swabian restaurant that is not right! We're not in a pub here, but the waitresses give you the impression. Unfortunately, we can't say anything about the food, because the service failed. But if the kitchen staff is the same as the 2 then cheers meal !! It's a shame about the beautiful location, for which we only give one star.
Catastrophic! There is only one star for the great location. The waitress was pretty confused and brought the wrong food twice. The tables weren't really clean. The ordered spaetzle with lentils and strings were gray from multiple boils and clearly not fresh. The pancake soup didn't taste like anything. Don't want to know what's going on in the kitchen. And all this with the proud prices. A clear case for the health department and an insult to Swabian cuisine!
Good bourgeois Swabian restaurant with enough choice. The service is friendly and quick. The food comes quickly. The portions are large and taste very good. The compilation is good.
Recommendation: All were a bit stressed by the amount of customers and weather (> 30 degrees) a bit. But it was to get over because the spaetzle and the food is really good and the ingredients are very good. The cyclist was sparkling and a real delight to enjoy it cool. To the picture: salad plate and a Jägerschnitzel incl. Radler
Nice and peacefull place, Good food . Gluten free is no problem. Owner is a Dog lover, ideal for walks around the Fields and Woods. Good start for day trips. A year later. Again good food,, But the new waiting staff could use a bit of waiting schooling.. Now 2019, Food is still very good. Parking is OK, after all. It is a well visited tourist place.
A verry nice and cozy place to stay overnight, or to enjoy a nice meal and drink!! The owners are very welcoming people and always happy to help you with what you need!! A PERFECT PLACE TO STAY!!!
I only rate the restaurant "Albengel", I cannot make any statements about the hotel business. The Albengel is a rock solid Swabian country inn with a great beer garden right on the Schopflocher Moor. The price-performance ratio is good, the staff attentive and friendly. The dishes are plentiful and good.
